THE NATURE OF WORK CHANGES

Interruptions from various sources, having to switch between tasks, changing roles, varying responsibilities, self directing and the blurring of boundaries between work and leisure are typical elements of the changing nature of work. Constant change and having to learn new skills are the new standard for almost every employee. 

Change itself doesn’t cause problems but if you lack the means to manage that change, it may cause experiences of loss of control, constantly having to rush things, feelings of inadequacy and can unfortunately very often lead to exhaustion.

MENTAL WELL-BEING                 

What if employees had a selection of tools and resources to face the challenges of changing working life? And what if they had a personal psychologist/coach (Höyrycoach) to offer support with everyday life and its changes?

Some examples of the skills each of us can learn include: acquiring learning skills, planning time usage, reducing rush, feeling in control, stress management and improving your concentration. Each one of these skills promotes well-being and brings peace of mind.

Since issues of the mind are the most common cause for sickness absence, why is it that usually you can only see a psychologist after first acquiring a referral from a doctor? Every employee will receive their own Höyrycoach for support and this will allow problems to be prevented!
